38 weeks today

2 weeks from today is the due date. I've dropped and dilated, but that doesn't mean anything until I'm on my way to the hospital. I've had an upset stomach for 3 days now, but I can (for the most part) ignore it pretty well. Nothing serious, it happens every few months, even before I was pregnant.

Got to meet Claire today and of course, like always, James kicked the baby I was holding. Little brat ;) HAHA! Alex and Claire are doing well, and that makes me really happy. Claire's beautiful and Bailey's an awesome big sister. I took Claire some onesies, a pillow case I cross-stitched Eeyore on to, and a couple pacifiers. Bailey got a nig sister gift which she kept saying "I love him!" So that rocks!

I just went to see how much my license plate renewal sticker was -- $115. What a rip off!! $115 for a STICKER that I only need for a year! At $115 the sticker should be valid for THREE years! I have $50 in the bank so I guess I'll go pull that so I don't accidentally spend it and get some haircuts and/or colors scheduled and then whatever else I need after those I'll take from my August 10th check and send them a hate letter. I hate the US government and all of these tax increases on everything they say are essential. I'm really tempted to let the sticker lapse and raise hell until I make it to Congress level. I wish "V for Vendetta" was a movie based on reality, except in the US. This country is going down the crapper and I wish Canada weren't so cold most of the year.
